Unlocking Secrets: The Cipher/Decipher Experience

In this exhibition—developed by the Canada Science and Technology Museum in partnership with the Communications Security Establishment—visitors will explore the fascinating worlds of cryptology and cybersecurity. Take a peak at an authentic Enigma machine, and learn how unlocking its secrets helped lead to Allied victory during the Second World War. Visitors will discover how ciphers have been created and decoded over the years, and can see if they have what it takes to work in cryptology by making their very own secret messages and trying to solve some logic puzzles.
