Co-operative Education Opportunities
The 1000 Islands History Museum proudly supports hands-on learning through Co-operative Education Programs, welcoming both high school and post-secondary students interested in gaining real-world experience in the museum, heritage, and tourism sectors.
Students have the opportunity to work alongside our team and contribute to meaningful projects that help preserve and share the rich stories of the Thousand Islands region.
The museum partners with local schools to provide flexible placements that align with academic goals. Students gain valuable experience in teamwork, communication, and project planning – all within a supportive, creative, and community-focused environment.
If you are interested in completing a co-op placement with the 1000 Islands History Museum, please contact us at office@1000islandshistorymuseum.com for more information about available opportunities.
